Appointment of Technical Compliance Officer Assistant

Work responsibilities

  • Assist the District Registry Officer (DRO) to establish, maintain and close the District Registration Office daily;
  • Registration in the registration system, the personal information of the applicants as recorded in the registration application form;
  • Capture biometric information such as fingerprints, irises, and photos of applicants using a mobile registration workstation (MRW);
  • Ensure accurate capture of data entries received from the Auxiliary Registration Assistant (s);
  • Manage the printer and print server to check the status of the printed national ID cards;
  • Printing and issuing national ID cards for applicants;
  • Report any technical issues to the local registry officer;
  • Ensuring safety, security, appropriate accountability, and proper handling of registration materials and equipment designated for the local registry office;
  • Ensure that applicants are served with respect, fairness and integrity;
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly activity reports to the District Registration Officer;
  • Performing any other duties assigned to it by the Executive Secretary or through his representative.

Work responsibilities

  • Assist the District Registration Officer (DRO) to set up and manage waiting lists and maintain and close the registration center at the end of the registration day;
  • Ensure that registration materials and equipment are stored in a safe place after the end of the business day;
  • Helping DRO to educate applicants on registration requirements in order to facilitate fast and accurate data recording;
  • Conduct interviews with applicants and record the applicants’ precise personal information in the registration application form, following data collection principles and best practices;
  • Provide general customer service support for the area office;
  • Manage challenge forms for objecting applicants;
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on registrations, record updates, replacements and renewals to DRO;

  • Provide efficient and effective management and administration, and adhere to the standards of excellence and service of the National Investment Commission;
  • Contact persons of contact for establishments and property owners of facilities where NIA offices are located or where registration exercises will be conducted;
  • Ensure the availability of an appropriate environment for the smooth registration of applicants, especially vulnerable groups and those with special needs;
  • Provide input to developing the county budget and procurement plans;
  • Leading the delivery of customer-based services;
  • Collaborate with MMDAs to ensure effective implementation of registration exercises in the region;
  • Conduct employee evaluations within the area office as appropriate;
  • Preparing employee performance reports for submission to the Regional Registry and Administration Officer;
  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports of the district office to the regional office;
