A woman identified as Linda Amoco’s decision to please her lover landed her in big trouble, as her mother vowed to disown her.
A romantic relationship Linda had with her financially unstable lover forced her to steal all of her mother’s savings for her maintenance.
He speaks amid tears in studios Nhyira FM During the hit Obra show, Madame Comfort said she became the object of sympathy for a few close friends who showered her with maintenance money after suffering from kidney problems.
The financial gifts were never found, along with some church collection loans she had kept for years, when she needed a lump sum for the surgery.
Comfort said she and her other children tried to search for the money to no avail because it disappeared into thin air, only for Linda to admit years later that she was the thief.
When asked to explain how she made transactions, Linda said she was wary of the bank’s rules, so she transferred the money from her mother’s bank account to the mobile cash wallet before withdrawing it.
She confessed that she saw her mother press her phone pin, and from that time on, she’d been milking the wallet constantly until it was dry; From the first GHS 100 to whatever amount her lover asks for.
However, Linda stated that after the birth of her twin babies, she developed postpartum complications and used the money to fund the bills.
Comfort has contested the claim, however, revealing that she takes good care of her unemployed daughter, even to the point of adopting her first grandchild.
