NMC PIN/AIN ONLINE RENEWAL: 5 SIMPLE STEPS TO RENEW YOUR PIN IN 2023. The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (N&MC) which serves as the regulatory body for all nurses and midwives in the country admonishes it members to renew their professional identification number (PIN) and Auxiliary Identification Number (PIN) every calendar year.
Is it illegal to practice without a valid license?
It is illegal in the laws of the country and the council to practice as a Nurse or Midwife without a valid license.
When does NMC PIN/AIN Expires?
The N&MC PIN/AIN expires every 31st of December in each calendar year, this it is valid between January 1 to December 31.

This article is to give you 5 simplified steps to renew your PIN/AIN online.
1. Make Payment
Pay an amount of 55gh cedis at any of our partner Banks or on the NMC Mobile App.(Association Members must heed to steps regarding their payment by the various bodies)
2. Provide a CPD Certificate ( Online or Manual)
Nurses and Midwives must take short courses online to obtain CPD certificate at the end of the course. Upload these certificates onto the NMC app or submit equivalent of such manually at the various regional offices across the country.
3. Upload documents
Visit the renewal site below and upload all your documents, pay-in-slip and CPD certificates as one file.
(Association members should upload CPD certificates only)
4. Receive SMS Notification
After successfully uploading the documents, you shall get a notification of PIN/AIN Renewal.
When does renewals reflect?
Renewal request will take up to 72 hours before it reflects. Keep renewal notification confidential.
5. Scan QR code for ValidityÂ
Scan the QR Code in-front of the card to check for validity
