The Ghana Nursing and Midwifery Council plans to digitize the study of patient and family care. As a trained nurse or midwife, studying care is one of the requirements for completing an individual’s training.
A patient / family care study is a detailed written report of the nursing care provided to an individual and his family during a specified period. It delves into the nursing care provided from the time of the interview to the termination of the nurse-patient relationship. It provides an in-depth description and explanation of how to diagnose and intervene in a patient’s response to a specific condition.
According to the Registrar of the Ghana Nursing and Midwifery Council, Mr. Felix Nyanti, the council has planned to digitize the study of patient and family care in view of recent trends in global digital and organizational transformation. So a consortium was formed in 2Second abbreviation February 2021 to continue digitization.
