Justina Thompson, paralyzed by a medical condition, urgently needs about $ 15,000 for surgery to be able to walk again.
Justina was unable to train again because she couldn’t walk past her training period while waiting to be sent. As Justina reported, it all started when a tumor developed in the upper part of her back resulting in a loss of balance and then paralysis. She is now confined to a wheelchair.
According to her reports from Kumphu Anoki Teaching Hospital, the facility does not have the equipment and the logistics needed to perform the surgery, so a referral is needed to another location. Doctors later told her that the surgery could be performed in India at a cost of $ 15,000.
The family is now unable to collect this amount of money. Therefore, they are appealing to the public for funds to enable her to perform the surgery.
